Found An Animal? Follow These Steps…
When encountering an animal that is in need of assistance, CWRRC’s staff is available 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Sunday including holidays. Please call (914) 629-8352 before taking action since not every animal needs assistance. Members of CWRRC will guide you to carefully restrain the animal and lead you to our nearest location.
Assure A Safe Distance
You do not need to approach an injured animal. There are animals that should only be handled by professionals since they can be sick or wounded. Suffering animals can lead to unnecessary stress or additional risk for yourself.
Know When To Intervene
Countless times people provide the animal’s one and only chance of receiving help. Know when to intervene (or please call us) so that the animal is not kidnapped unnecessarily.
